Starting with your Fitness Evaluation, we guide you in using exercise to improve your everyday health. Exercise prescription can lower blood pressure, combat osteo-arthritis, rehab injuries, correct muscle imbalance, and reduce pain.


City Fitness provides individual introduction sessions for any of our class formats. Try Pilates, boxing, step or yoga and we will get you ready to move smoothly into the class.


Our experienced staff designs custom programs, ensuring success. We motivate, educate, and challenge you to be your best!


Try Yoga, Taiji or Qi Gong to clear your mind and reduce tension, and unwind after a hard workout or a long day.

City Fitness is located just steps away from the Cleveland Park Metro on Connecticut Avenue. Our team is made up of energetic and enthusiastic fitness professionals whose goal is to help you improve your health and fitness.

We provide a clean, comfortable and expertly staffed facility for our members whether they are just starting an exercise program, or are at an advanced level. In order to help you achieve your fitness goals, City Fitness offers 3 free personal training sessions and a complete selection of cardio equipment, free weights, weight machines and fitness classes.

City Fitness 20/30 Anniversary

As a result of our recent 20/30 Anniversary, we are proud to have received a Congratulatory letter from the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, congratulating our “Hard work and accomplishments as the longest standing women-owned fitness business in Washington, DC,” as well as our “Leadership in advancing the health of our nation.”

We are also proud to have received a Recognition Resolution of 2013 from the City Council of the District of Columbia, “To honor and celebrate milestone anniversaries for Fit Physique and City Fitness-two dedicated and accomplished small businesses in the District of Columbia.”

Class Reservations

Beginning April 7th

Beginning April 7th we are offering our members the opportunity to be guaranteed a spot in class by reserving their space. Below are the reservation classes & guidelines.

Body Sculpting:
Monday, Wednesday 12:00 noon
Friday 9:30 AM
Saturday 10:30 AM

Monday, Wednesday 9:30 AM
Monday, Wednesday 10:45 AM

Step It Up:
Saturday 11:30 AM

*Reservations can only be made the day of the class.
*Reservation time will end promptly at 9:00AM. No exceptions.
*Reservations can only be made by speaking to a PERSON. No messages will be honored.
*Reservations can be made by City Fitness members only.
*Non-members & guests can be placed on stand by.
*The sign-up sheet will be available at the Front Desk 90 minutes prior to the start of the class.
*Failure to arrive at the start time of the class results in relinquishing your reserved space.
